Pirate Software - Game Jam 16 (1 Person - Submission) 

In this movement driven action game you are the weapon yourself, instead of being wielded by a person. This means you hurl, throw or spin yourself into the enemies which brings new challenges then a traditional wielded fighting approach.

Along the way you aqcuire soul orbs that can be used to unlock new weapons or stat improvements for your weapons.

Controls:

  • WASD - Movement
  • F - Enter Fight Mode
  • Mouse Movement - Aiming
  • Left Mouse Button - Charge the Attack
  • K - Skill Tree
  • 1/2/3 - Change Weapon Mode (Sword/Axe/Hammer)

Known Bugs/Problems:

  • Axe and Hammer are already unlocked
    • Normally you start only with the Sword and unlock the other 2 weapons after you get the souls for them
  • The game starts to lag when too many enemies and souls are in the scene

Very interesting concept. I was not able to get very far as I was having a really hard time actually hitting the enemies. I like the art a lot, great job.

Yeah the sword is currently abit tricky as the aim is not aligning properly with the flight path creating an offset.

Did you try the other weapons?
I think the hammer is the most interesting one :D

I did learn alot indeed, I started coding not to long ago so there were lots of challenges espescially the movement system was hard to get working even somewhat properly.
